Every label tells a story…. Here’s the artist’s story
What is your art background like?
I graduated from Northern Essex Community College with an Associate Degree in Commercial Art 1993, I worked at Innovative Foto 1998-2013 (photo booth company) where I developed my graphic design skills. I had many opportunities at Innovative Foto to broaden my creative abilities. I’m currently self-employed as a freelance Graphic Designer. Some of my work includes: logos, marketing materials, product labels, flyers, invitations , signage, and many personal projects. My latest project is a self-published children’s book titled: “The Journey of the Inspired Owl” written and illustrated by me.
What inspires you as an artist?
I find inspiration from everywhere and anything. I have a vivid creative imagination and enjoy taking good ideas and turning them into great designs.
What do you hope viewers will feel/experience when they view your art?
I hope the viewers see the beauty and creativity that goes into the designs I create. Also, that they are able to understand what the image conveys.
What else would you like people to know about you, your art in general, or this piece?
I’ve created several labels for Frogg Brewing and love the opportunity they have given me to showcase my creative abilities. They are truly one of a kind!
Anything else?
Since I can remember I always knew at a young age that I was going to be an artist. I didn’t know that I’d be a graphic designer or that I would be doing their kind of work I’ve done. I love all the opportunities that have been presented to me and that I can use my talent to help clients see their projects come to life.
