Monday Pun Day

Week 12, November 28, the start of the holiday season. We’ve been waiting a while now to share a pun from this special customer whose name is already a great pun. So, this week, ahem, we have a double pun—“A stitch in pine” which ties back to the name Sew Hop’d. Love, love, love. Happy Holidays!

Week 11, November 21, Thanksgiving week! In celebration of Thanksgiving, we present a tribute to the traditional Thanksgiving garnish fruit, the cranberry. But if you read the label (every label tells a story!), this design and excellent pun are celebrating a person:

“Cranberry Bob, the farmer behind the first commercial cranberry-growing operation in Vermont… and the inspiration for Americran. Our parnership with the Vermont Cranberry Company has lasted for nearly a decade and has created the perfect union of apples and cranberries. They are, after all, two of the finest fruits in the Northeast.”

Seriously, how cool is that? Happy Thanksgiving everyone! And cheers to Cranberry Bob of Vermont!

Week 4. October 3. The label tells the story behind this pun: “The goal with Cone Flakes was to make a beer so blisteringly hoppy that its flavors are akin to eating a bowl of hops with a spoon…. We suggest drinking it instead.” How fun is that? Hats off to our friends at Firefly Hollow.
