Q&A with Sales Coordinator Nicola McAllister

1) How would you describe your BACKGROUND?

I have worked in Sales and Marketing most of my working life. Before moving to the US from Ireland, I worked in Film and Television in many aspects. My last job there, I was a Sales Executive for a distribution company. We sold tv and film programming to international TV stations and international airlines. I attended markets in Cannes, France, twice a year to meet with our international clients.

2) What would SURPRISE people to realize about you?

I played a cave woman in a short film that was directed and produced by my friend’s Film company. It was screened for the first time at the Galway Film Festival. Someone recognized me and yelled my name out in the theatre!

3) What is the most delightful part of your life OUTSIDE of work?

I enjoy spending time with my family; we like to travel, especially to Ireland to see my friends and family. I also enjoy working out and interior design.

4) What is your usual WORK DAY like?

I like to catch up with my colleagues on what I need to know and do for the day and then get to work. I have enjoyed learning all about labels and have been tasked with many different aspects of the job during my day.

5) What is the most MEANINGful thing about your job?

I like helping my colleagues and really feel they have welcomed me. With regards to our customers, you can see that they put a lot into making their labels stand out and it is important to me to make sure that their order is correct, and they are happy with our turnaround and service.
